Can I help an employee with an immigration problem if they never filed anything? PDF Print E-mail
There may still be time to help a key employee who has immigration problems even if they have never filed anything with the immigration authorities to fix their problem.. In any regard, they should consult an immigration attorney immediately. Many law firms, such as ours, offer a free initial consultation to determine what can be done. The immigration laws are extremely complex and many aliens do not seek the advice of an attorney out of fear, for cultural reasons or because they erroneously feel that they have no legal rights.

If you have a key employee who is an integral part of your company, please encourage them to seek advice from an experienced immigration attorney. It is important to note that whatever the employee tells the attorney is done so in confidence and can not be related to a third party or to the government under the attorney client privilege. Therefore, urge any employee with a potential immigration problem to seek immediate legal advice before it is too late.
