Employer Sanctions Under HR 4437
Of all of the questions we are asked, this is the most common one, so do not feel alone if you are faced with this dilemma. In these cases, the Employer finds that they need to help a key employee resolve that immigration problem. If the employee investigated was not a key employee, the Employer could simply terminate them. However, in many cases, that employee has become such a key part of the business operation that termination is not practical. It is at this stage that an attorney knowledgeable in this are of the law needs to be retained to guide the Employer on how to resolve the legal problem presented.
