FORT WORTH, Texas Two executives of a company that hired illegal immigrants for janitorial work at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport are going to prison.

A federal judge in Fort Worth today sentenced Karen Sue Rowell, president of Midwest Airport Services, to nine months in prison.

Edward John Pitre, who's the company's former operations manager, was sentenced to 15 months behind bars.

Midwest and Service Performance, which also provides janitorial services for D-F-W Airport, pleaded guilty in March to immigration violations.

Midwest today was ordered to pay a 150-thousand dollar fine.

S-P-C was fined 600-thousand dollars.

Pitre last year was convicted of conspiracy to unlawfully harbor and shield illegal aliens from detection.

Rowell pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting in false representation of U-S citizenship.
